Autism Coverage Becomes Law with Signing
Just a month ago, the endeavor to pass a bill that would require Georgia insurances to cover those with autism appeared to be dead. However, through the efforts of child advocates and legislators a reworked bill (House Bill 429) was passed which included language that will call for coverage of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA). The ABA helps those with autism to achieve greater heights of competency and understanding. A big win for Autism.
