Season 5 Is Here: What We’ve Been Working On and What’s Coming Next
We’re excited to finally share that Season 5 of the podcast is here. It’s been a while, and some of you may have been wondering what’s been going on behind the scenes. The short answer: we’ve been working. A lot.
Over the past few months, we’ve taken time to rethink how we can make this podcast more useful, more timely, and more aligned with the kind of conversations we think matter in healthcare right now. In this post, we want to walk through some of the changes, give you a sense of what to expect this season, and share a few ways you can stay connected with us.
Why the Delay?
We’ll be honest—the break between seasons was longer than we planned. But it wasn’t downtime. We were putting together new content, testing different formats, hosting webinars, and having some great conversations with people we think you’ll want to hear from.
We didn’t want to launch Season 5 until we had something that felt new, not just more of the same. We think the wait will be worth it.
A New Focus: Webinars, Events, Headlines….and mixed with some Podcast Integration
One of the biggest changes this season is that we’re incorporating webinars into our podcast recordings. We’ve already hosted a few, and the response has been really positive. Moving forward, you’ll see:
- Webinar recaps in podcast episodes
- Guests from the webinars joining us on the show
- Access to recordings, slide decks, and partner contact info on our site
If you haven’t already, check out the recorded webinars on our website and YouTube channel. Some of the content is better when you can actually see what we’re referencing, especially when there’s data or visuals involved.
Why This Change?
We’ve always aimed to make the podcast practical and informative, and webinars are a natural extension of that. They allow us to go a bit deeper on specific topics and bring in voices we wouldn’t normally have on the show.
We’re also working with a few partners, vendors, and associations to bring in new perspectives. These partnerships have added a lot of value so far in both content and ROI to providers, and we’re looking forward to expanding that even more this season.
How to Stay in the Loop
We’re trying to do a better job of keeping everyone updated on what we’re working on. Here’s how you can stay connected:
- Follow us on LinkedIn – That’s where we’ll post most event updates
- Subscribe to the blog and newsletter – We’re sending these out every other month now
- Reach out directly if you want to get on the newsletter list or stay in the loop on upcoming events
You’ll start seeing more posts about upcoming speaking engagements, webinars, and other opportunities to join the conversation—whether it’s online or in person.
A Slightly Different Format This Season
We’re also tweaking the format of the podcast itself. You’ll notice episodes are a little shorter, a little more focused. We know a lot of you are listening during a commute, between meetings, or while knocking out email, so we’re keeping that in mind.
This season, we’re leaning more into:
- Guest interviews
- Clear takeaways
- Shorter, more structured episodes
The goal is to keep things practical and easy to follow, without losing the depth that makes these conversations worth having in the first place.
What We’ll Be Talking About
We’ve already got a few big topics lined up for this season. One that’s top of mind is the recent shifts in the healthcare market, including exits by companies like Best Buy and Amazon. These are major players, and their moves tell us something about where the industry is headed—or not headed.
We’ll also be covering:
- Clinical workflows and service line compliments
- Tariffs and supply chain issues
- Broader industry trends that impact care delivery and operations
We don’t have all the answers, but we’re planning to unpack these topics in a way that makes them easier to understand and more relevant to the work many of you are doing.
Still Keeping It Light
Even with all these updates, we’re not trying to reinvent the wheel. We’re still going to keep it relaxed and informal. Expect the occasional dad joke, off-topic tangent, or quick story to keep things from feeling too heavy. We want this to be a space that’s not only informative but also enjoyable to listen to.
Thanks for sticking with us and for your continued support. We’re excited about where Season 5 is headed, and we hope you’ll join us for what’s next. As always, let us know what’s helpful, what you’d like more of, and how we can keep improving. Talk with you all soon…
